InSite One Inc and Cedara Software Announce New Online Service

InDex® Web will give referring physicians Web-based access to the archived results and reports of radiology providers. Cedara Software, a Merge Healthcare company, has formed a strategic relationship with InSite One Inc; online radiology services will be the focus of the new alliance. The Cedara I-Reach™ solution will be the basis of InDex Web, which will be offered by InSite One to its clients.

InSite One, as a storage service provider, is used by more than 400 US customers for Internet-based archiving and retrieval of more than 940 million medical images (using systems that comply with the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine standard). Using InDex Web, these clients will be able to provide their referring physicians with Web-based access to prior studies, reports, and other important data, despite the wide variety of imaging needs, network infrastructures, security needs, and connection speeds involved. The InDex Web interface is easily used by clinicians in many specialties, the InSite One notes.
