Diagnostic Workstation

With a two-second scan-per-sheet, the Catella Docu-Scan allows for the addition of documents, reports, and laboratory studies to a patient's DICOM image file. Broadwest, New York, offers the LumiVue ^TM LVM12 flat-panel illuminator. Through a cold cathode fluorescent lamp, the LumiVue is able to provide a brightness of 8,000 cd/m ² . Its backlight technology employs high daylight color temperature for improving contrast and providing a uniformity greater than 90%. The LumiVue LVM12 accommodates 6 over 6 of the 18 cm by 24 cm mammography films, or 4 over 4 of the 24 cm by 30 cm mammography films.
